Understanding IDX

CourseWorks
Learn all about upcoming classes and seminars each month in the CourseWorks section of the REALTOR® Review. To register for these events or for additional information, visit www.rrar.com.

Understanding IDX
If you’re a principal broker of a firm or if you’re planning on starting your own firm, sign up now to learn about IDX. This is a program you need to understand so you won’t cause yourself or your agents undue grief.

The IDX class, which is free of charge, shows you how to sign up for IDX and explains how it works in non-technical language. Classes run from 9:30-11 a.m. on Dec. 3 in RRAR’s Room 119.

Register online at www.rrar.com. For more information, contact Carol Hamrick or Bonnie Eaddy at (919) 654-5400 or email them at carolh@trianglemls.com or bonniee@trianglemls.com.

Continue your education
The Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® is sponsoring two courses in December, which are approved by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission for continuing education. All will be held at 111 Realtors Way in Cary.

On Wednesday, Dec. 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., George Bell will teach the 2008 Mandatory Update class and then from 2-6 p.m., he will teach the elective For the Good of All: REALTOR® Code of Ethics. A Code of Ethics course is required of each REALTOR® every four years and the current four-year period ends Dec. 31, 2008.

Fees are $55 per class if you’re a REALTOR® board or association member; $65 per class if not. Register online at www.rrar.com or contact Cara Mottershead at (919) 654-5400 or caram@rrar.com.

The full tuition fee less $10 will be refunded if cancellation notice is received at least 24 hours prior to a course. If a class is missed without a 24-hour notice, the entire fee is forfeited.
