Understanding IDX
If
you’re a principal broker of a firm or if you’re planning on starting
your own firm, sign up now to learn about IDX. This is a program you need
to understand so you won’t cause yourself or your agents undue grief.
The IDX class, which
is free of charge, shows you how to sign up for IDX and explains how it
works in non-technical language. Classes run from 9:30-11 a.m. on Dec.
3 in RRAR’s Room 119.

Continue your education
The
Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® is sponsoring two courses in
December, which are approved by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission
for continuing education. All will be held at
111 Realtors Way in
Cary.
On Wednesday, Dec. 5,
from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., George Bell will teach the 2008 Mandatory
Update class and then from 2-6 p.m., he will teach the elective For the
Good of All: REALTOR® Code of Ethics. A Code of Ethics course
is required of each REALTOR® every four years and the current four-year period
ends Dec. 31, 2008.
Fees are $55 per class

The full tuition fee less $10 will be refunded if cancellation notice is
received at least 24 hours prior to a course. If a class is missed without
a 24-hour notice, the entire fee is forfeited.
