$9,000 to Habitat for Humanity
Thanks
to the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® Housing
Opportunity Committee and the North Carolina Association of REALTORS® Housing
Foundation - Homes 4NC, the American dream of owning a home will come
true for more area residents.
RRAR gave $5,000
to Habitat for Humanity of Wake County and Homes 4NC matched that
contribution at $4,000.
The $9,000 check
was presented by Housing Opportunity Chairman Allen Smith at a breakfast
sponsored by the NC Housing Finance Agency. Diane Green, director
of community outreach for the Homes 4NC Foundation, and Annemarie
Maicrano, community development director for the Housing and Community
Revitalization Program of Wake County, spoke at the breakfast about
how REALTORS® can help low to moderate income families
afford homes.
