Purdue speaks
to TCAR
On
September 19, York Properties sponsored a Triangle Commercial Association
of REALTORS® showcase at Plantation Pointe with Lieutenant Governor
Bev Purdue as the main speaker. Perdue, who ran for governor this
year, spoke about her campaign. An invitation to speak was extended
to Pat McCrory, who also ran for governor, but he was unable to attend.
After an introduction
by Smedes York, Perdue talked about what was important in her candidacy
including everything from health care for children in need to off-shore
drilling. After her speech the gubernatorial candidate answered questions
previously submitted by TCAR members.
