RRAR is now on Facebook

RRAR is now on Facebook

Across the world, companies and associations are using the social networking website Facebook to promote their businesses and now so is the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS®. In fact, RRAR is the first REALTOR® association in North Carolina to have a Facebook page.

Facebook users can join networks organized by city, workplace, school and region to connect and interact with other people. People can also add ‘friends’ and send them messages, and update their personal profile to notify friends about themselves.

So, start your own Facebook page today and/or log on to become an RRAR friend and help RRAR members become some of the most technologically savvy of any association member. It’s fun, easy and free. Log on at www.facebook.com.

If you’re already using Facebook, you know it can be a great tool for keeping your business active and successful. But if you're not logged on, here are a few things to remember.

First, you don't have to know html or be a webmaster to create your own Facebook page. If you can upload a photo, you can be a part of Facebook.

Second, your personal information will not suddenly be made public on the Internet when you join Facebook. When you create a Facebook page, you can choose the “keep my information private" option in your profile preferences. This way, only your "chosen" Facebook friends can see your posted information.

Learn more about Facebook at its website.
