‘Social media’ – Only for the young

Use of ‘social media’ topic of June 4 meeting

The Women’s Council of REALTORS® presents a seminar called “Social Media: Creating Community, Connections and Clients” on Wednesday, June 4 at WCR’s monthly meeting. The session will be held from 8:45-10:15 a.m. at 111 Realtors Way in Cary.

The presenter is Lisa Creech Bledsoe, director of Calvert Creative, an innovative communications group in Cary. Whether you can barely text or have your own blog, this program on choosing and using social media is for you. Bledsoe will explain how to use Internet tools to connect with your colleagues, community and potential clients. She specializes in discovering and utilizing innovative communication tools and teaching others how they can be applied to help meet business goals.

The seminar is part of WCR’s monthly meeting schedule and is open to WCR and RRAR members and guests. There’s no fee for members to attend, but guests must pay $5. To learn more about WCR, go to www.raleighwcr.org, and for a full calendar of meetings, visit http://realestateagent.meetup.com/131/. For more information, contact WCR President-Elect Louise Griffin at (919) 796-3470.
